Pitch Black – Books with Bite via kwout

This is just the coolest Teen Read Week website EVER!!!!! HarperTeen, book publishers extraordinaire have created PitchBlack, which helps you select your favorite vampire books at the opening of a crypt door! Upon entering the site, you choose from one of three crypt doors. Just ask yourself: Are you a lover, a fighter, or a biter? So you think you’re a lover? The site recommends the Vampire Kisses series by Ellen Schreiber. No, maybe you’re a fighter. Then you need to try the Evernight series by Claudia Gray. Or wait, maybe you’re a biter? Then check out the Vamps series by Nancy A. Collins. There’s also a quiz to help you decide which type of vamp you are. You can even pimp your coffin, because, as the website tell us, “just because you’re undead does not mean you have to be uncool!” There’s a list of Pitch Black Books with Bite tour events and even a sweepstakes. One grand prize winner will receive an iPod touch and a Pitch Black ten-book prize pack. Ten runners-up will receive the Pitch Black ten-book prize pack. Visit the website for rules and to enter the contest. Here’s a list of the books you can win:
Evernight by Claudia Gray

Vamps by Nancy A. Collins
Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr
Ink Exchange by Melissa Marr
The Summoning by Kelley Armstrong
