You know I’m always posting about readergirlz, one of our favorite sites, because they are so great at promoting fun reading, celebrating strong girls, and inspiring girls to make their own history. But today when I was reading a blog post by one of the readergirlz founding divas, Justina Chen Headley, I was reminded that sometimes I forget to remind you about some of the great websites that promote reading for our guys, like Guys Lit Wire and GuysRead.

guysread

GuysRead is a great website by author Jon Scieszka. You know Jon, the author of The Stinky Cheese Man, The True Story of the Three Little Pigs and other great books you’ve been loving since you were a little kid. You can go to the site and find great guy books for guys of all ages, and even books for adults based on your most-beloved book, favorite author, or a topic of interest.

guyslitwire

GuysLitWire is a blog that reviews the kind of books that guys like to read. A post today reviewed Black and White by Paul Volponi, a great contemporary writer who really appeals to, well, you guessed it, guys. So, with apologies for ignoring all you guys out there, please forgive me, and check out these two great sites. And, hey, don’t forget that a lot of the books reviewed on readergirlz are still great for guys, too!
