Have You Tried GlassGiant, Bibliophiles?

Remember all the cool graphics you can make on ImageChef? Well, if you have already made millions of cool ImageChef images, you might also want to try GlassGiant. You can make lots of cool graphics, enjoy some “fun and games” (for example “Pumpkin Masher” and “Word Scrambler”) and even try your hand at “geek stuff” such as counting to 31 on one hand or making a trebuchet that can fire balls of Play-Doh! The images can be posted to your blog, website, or your MySpace or FaceBook page. I did have some issues with embedding to WordPress, but all I had to do was save my lovely image and upload it.

Art, Art, Baby!

Tape Art 3

“Marry Me?” Kelsey, Megan, Haley, and James

Tape Art 2

“Elasticity” by Miranda, Lindsey, Shannon, and Nikki

Tape Art 1

“Maria Chillin'” by Maria, Kortnee, Portia, Sarah, and Heather

Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who’s the coolest art teacher of them all? It has got to be our own Ms. McCloskey. And her art students. This week, their contribution is three-dimensional tape sculpture. Check out their first three fabulous contributions. For more information on tape sculpture, and instructions on how to create your own, you can go to TapeSculpture.org. OK, you know that they’re not using live objects in the website’s demonstrations, right? Don’t try taping up live babies to make a sculpture. That is a DOLL, not a baby. Real babies do not survive taping. Our students used members of their groups as “molds” for their work, and they did a fantastic job! Kudos to all our great Creekview artists, and Ms. McCloskey, the world’s greatest art teacher! Oh, yeah! Don’t forget to check out the Cherokee County High School Art Show 2008 on Friday, March 14, 6-8 PM, featuring Adam O., Olivia S., Amanda M., Nikki C., Mandy G., Maura M., Briana G., Taylor A., Allison G., Kelsey S. Navin T., Haley B., Justin V., Britney R., Yana H., and Maggie B. For more art sculptures, check out the Grizzly Den blog and The Unquiet Library blog

Books Rock!

Posted by blatantbibliophiles on February 12, 2008

Check out the cool graphic I made on ImageChef! You simply must try it immediately! There are lots of cool graphics and animations; all you have to do is type in your own expression and ImageChef does the rest. You can create a card, send an email, or post to your blog, MySpace, FaceBook, or practically anywhere. How cool is that? Be patient, because sometimes the post takes a while; emails seem to go faster. I also couldn’t get animations to post to WordPress, but they worked fine as an email.

This is just another example of a cool ImageChef graphic I made for your entertainment. Yeah, I got carried away. But it is almost Valentine’s Day!
